Re: ICE STORM OF THE CENTURY!

Just to keep the ball rolling...

A lot has gone down since my last post! We had an ice storm last weekend that knocked out power to almost 400,000 homes in NH! We lost power for three days. My mom and I bunked up in the mud room where the wood stove was so we could keep warm. It was very boring but kind of exciting to live without electricity. By day 3 i was going crazy with boredom though. The storm caused thousands of downed trees and limbs...a 200 lb. one fell in my driveway in the spot that i park EVERY NIGHT except, on a whim, the night before the storm when i pulled up to the barn. Miracle!

Some limbs are resting on the house and could cause some problems. Hopefully they wont break off the tree and come smashing into the house....

Yay Me

Yay me...I did three Nutcrackers successfully this weekend! Friday night was opening night and by far the best of the 3. Not only did the Snow Queen's costume strap snap almost flashing her boob to the audience and sending her offstage in a fit of crying and screaming, but some little kid puked in the audience hahahaha! Plus I landed a nice triple! My sister flew up from Baltimore to see my show, my Sito came down from Maine, my aunt and cousin and 2 friends came, my 2 good friends from Plymouth came down, my mom, and my best friend and her mom all came to support me. I got a lot of praise from the audience and stage hands alike. What an accomplishment.

Thursday night I had a lobster dinner with my family and Friday my Sito made all my favorite Lebanese food and I had a feast before my show.

Sunday 4 of my friends came to watch and some kid on myspace even messaged me because he had seen me in the show. I'm so glad that i did it. And now, it's Monday, and back to the audit at work. My latest assignment is pretty sweet-travel to all the field offices in NH and collect folders......4-6 hours on the road for the next two days!
